About

Interior design has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. It first began with a fascination with drawings and art from Frank Lloyd Wright, and I had a passion for organization and nice furniture. This interest naturally grew into pursuing an education in interior design and achieving my Bachelor of Arts in Interior Architecture from San Diego State University’s CIDA-accredited program and I am eager to bring my skills, creativity, and fresh perspective to your team!

Through my past three internships, I’ve had the opportunity to work across residential, commercial, hospitality, and mixed-use projects, gaining exposure to a range of design challenges and workflows. These experiences have taught me how to balance function with  aesthetics, as well as maintaining costs and staying organized. I’m comfortable using lot’s of software including Sketchup, AutoCAD, Revit, and Enscape as well as presentation and editing software like Adobe Suite, Photoshop, InDesign, Canva, as well as experience in digital illustration, hand rendering, and presentation graphics. I also have some past design-build experience from both my internship at Humble Design as well as this program, Girls Garage. From there I learned how to be hands-on and learn how to use different tools to build community designs. This gave me a deeper understanding on the process of designing and being creative.
